Since 2013, our group has been consistently engaged in activities to support vaccination for children in developing countries.
This initiative is carried out through annual donations to the certified NPO, the Japan Committee for Vaccines for the World’s Children (JCV official website).
While vaccinations are readily available in Japan, they remain inaccessible to many children in developing countries such as Myanmar, Laos, Bhutan, and Vanuatu.
Recognizing that many children lose their lives to diseases that could be prevented with minimal cost, we view “protecting the lives of children who represent the future” as one of our social missions and have continued our support activities accordingly.
For example, a dose of polio vaccine costs as little as 20 yen, yet it can protect a child from poliomyelitis.
As part of our commitment to social contribution, we will continue to value and sustain such initiatives in the years to come.
