At Food Innovators Holdings Limited, we support children’s cafeteria (kodomo shokudo) activities as part of our commitment to giving back to the local community. We recently received an activity report from Nagasaki Machizukuri Project Co., Ltd. on the “Mihara Garden Children’s Cafeteria” held on Saturday, June 20 (Reiwa 8), and we are pleased to share how the day unfolded.
Although the day was met with heavy rain, the children enjoyed indoor recreation and a delicious meal, and we were able to share warm and memorable time together.

Activities on the Day

Because of the heavy rain, we placed the children’s safety first and held recreation activities that could be enjoyed indoors. The children’s lively, cheerful voices filled the room — enough to blow the bad weather away.
[A delightful mealtime]
This time the menu featured hamburg steak and spaghetti salad — perennial favorites among the children — along with a seasonal cherry dessert. The sight of the children eating with bright smiles left a lasting impression.
